ABSTRACT

Sensory substitution devices (SSDs) aim at replacing or assisting one or several functions of a deficient sensory modality by means of another sensory modality. The results obtained with the existing devices have motivated a series of empirical and philosophical questions, which will be the main target of this presentation.
